Alex Webster Retires

After 14 incredible years with James Frew, we say a heartfelt farewell to Alex Webster as he begins his well-earned retirement.

Alex has been an integral part of our team, making countless contributions that have helped shape both the company and the people around him. His unwavering commitment, paired with his kindness and willingness to help others, has left a lasting impression on everyone who has had the pleasure of working with him.

While we’re all excited to see Alex enjoy this next chapter of life, there’s no denying he’ll be greatly missed by colleagues and friends alike.

From all of us at James Frew – thank you, Alex, for everything you’ve given over the years. We wish you every happiness in your new journey.

Farewell message from Roddy “Alex started back in 2011, Steve Lee brought him in, Alex was clocking the miles up delivering parts to the Glasgow & Ayrshire gas engineers.

He has served various roles within JF, never complaining, always with a smile on his face – Alex is a working man, left school at 15 – into the slaughterhouse and has worked all his days. Would imagine you could count in one hand how many sick days he has had in his full career.

My biggest regret with Alex was not knowing him sooner – would have worked for me from 15 until now, exemplar employee and will be missed by so many.

Websters, we have had a few, young Alex, Garry, and David – a real family affair.

9 grandkids will keep him busy – can’t help thinking though he will be looking for another wee job very soon, I’ll bump into him on New Street when walking Storm and he will keep me updated.

Good luck Alex, a very well deserved retirement.
