James Frew SVQ3 Plumbing Modern Apprentices, Connor Wales and Bradley Waters, attended the College’s Scotland Parliamentary Showcase held in the Garden Lobby of the Scottish Parliament.

Cameron Bell, Head of Learning and Skills at Ayrshire College, praised the apprentices for their role in demonstrating a 5G mixed reality heat pump maintenance package developed with Vaillant, as part of the Pan Ayrshire 5G initiative. He said, “Connor and Bradley were a credit to James Frew – polite, knowledgeable, and fully engaged with MSPs and guests throughout the evening.”

James Frew Managing Director, Roddy Frew, added, “Well done to Connor and Bradley for representing the company so well. Thanks also to Ayrshire College for involving us in this prestigious event.”

James Frew Ltd recently supported the development of Ayrshire College’s Willie Mackie Skills Hub in Kilwinning by installing advanced low-carbon technologies to aid in skills training and lifelong learning in the renewables sector.
