Tony Wark – Retirement

Everyone at James Frew would like to wish Tony Wark a long, healthy and happy retirement! After almost 24 years with James Frew Ltd, plumber, Tony Wark, has retired. Tony was a very popular member of our MPS team and has delivered countless projects mainly working within domestic new builds and renovation projects during his time with us.

Managing Director, Roddy Frew, said: “I always enjoyed visiting sites that Tony was on, his good humour made the working day a pleasant environment. I will remember fondly our ongoing joke together regarding his piece bag which has been upgraded over the years, it started off as a Farmfoods carrier bag then progressed to an Iceland carrier bag and prior to Tony’s retirement it had been promoted to an Aldi plastic bag! I was delighted to present Tony with a small token of our gratitude for his loyal service. He is due to go on a 10-day holiday to Fuengirola Spain with his wife and we wish him all the best in his retirement.”

Head of Operations, John Barbour said: “Tony has been an asset to James Frew throughout his long service with the company and will be missed by myself and his colleagues. I wish Tony a relaxing, happy and healthy retirement!”
